Why the name Argus

Argus comes from Greek mythology, where the enduring symbol is vigilance without blind spots. In older fragments Argus is described with four eyes and tireless watchfulness; later retellings expand that image to one hundred eyes that never fully close at once.

That idea maps directly to the product: continuous awareness of service health, faster detection of anomalies, and clearer public visibility when systems change.
