Custom Domains
The intended customer-facing domain model for Argus Status.
Default domain
Every workspace can start on a platform domain such as:
workspace.argustatus.com
Branded domain
Customers can later map a branded subdomain such as:
status.customer.com
by pointing it to:
edge.argustatus.com
Why use an edge target
- It keeps customer DNS onboarding separate from the console.
- It gives the platform one consistent entry for branded domains.
- It makes later SSL and Cloudflare automation easier to reason about.
